V-Rod Girder

The Perse Girder front end is a cutting edge design that has a unique look with unsurpassed quality and performance.  For those who say that "Suspension is Suspension" and a traditional telescoping front end performs the same as any other front end - we couldn't disagree more.  During normal braking with a traditional telescoping front end the fork tube compresses linearly and gets shorter - this causes "nose dive."  Unlike the telescoping front end the Girder leg does not change length during braking.  Due to its design, it pulls the front wheel back slightly into the bike, this movement is minor but has a serious impact on the feel and handling of the bike.  Not only does it push the front of the bike up to significantly reduce "nose dive" during braking it also works to increase wheel/ground contact over normal road imperfections.  Couple the Girder design with radial braking and the rider enjoys the control and feel of a high performance race bike.  Per is synonymous with quality and the Girder front end is no exception.

Feature on the Girder include:
*  Girder leg length that is calculated and cut to allow for a 4 to 5 inch trail
*  High strength 17-4 stainless steel axle and steering stem
*  Left hand threaded hidden axle locked in place with a Perse Pinch Lock
*  Billet aluminum triple tress, A-arms, Girder legs, and axle blocks
*  Integrated headlight
*  Tune-able Penske coil-over monoshock
*  Can be set-up for either a single or dual Brembo Brake
*  Choice of 3/4", 1", or 25mm axle to fit your front wheel
*  Military grade bearings
*  With exception for the headlight and shock, all other components are manufactured onsite to guarantee the highest quality in craftsmanship
*  Finish options include: full chrome, black nickel, full anodized black and signature, other finish combinations can be discussed and priced at time of order
*  Blade options include: plain, recessed dimples, thru and thru holes, or custom "tattooed" engraving

A complete front end includes upper and lower triple trees, steering stem, fork stop, A-arms, legs, axle blocks with brake mount(s), axle, headlight, and Penske shock.
