Rods can be made to any length for any appliction. 
These bad boys are made from CR1018 steel shaft, unlike the light duty foreign jobbers with threads that don't work that you will find other places.
Sock length is 16" end to end; with 5/16-24 unc X 1-1/4" long threads on both ends for adjustment.
